disley.org: pd (pure data)

This page is a collection of Alastair Disley's PD patches, currently an autopan patch to simulate the Rhodes Suitcase electric piano's stereo tremolo, and a drawbar organ simulator. All patches linked from this page are free to download, use, and modify, with the proviso that anything you create (a new PD patch, or a musical work) which derives from these patches should credit their origin. All patches need PD installing first: go to the PD website to download the software (PD is also free). If you run into any problems with the patches, or have suggestions, do contact me. Please note that I can't help with general PD issues, only ones pertaining to my patches.

drawbar organ simulator

drawbars.pd is an electric organ simulator. It currently features eight note polyphony and includes a configurable simulation of a rotary speaker. The sound produced doesn't match some commercial soft synths for emulation of a Hammond organ and Leslie speaker, but this one is fun to play with and also free! Theoretically I believe it could run as a VST plug-in, but I've not tried this.

autopan

This patch replicates the stereo vibrato of the Fender Rhodes Suitcase electric pianos, so a more common Stage model can easily sound like its more expensive Suitcase brother. Several features are added from the aftermarket Dyno My Piano stereo vibrato module.
